Arizona Gives Day:
Support the Future of Verde Valley Humane Society

Dear Friend,

On this Arizona Gives Day, I invite you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the thousands of animals who depend on Verde Valley Humane Society each year.

Serving more than 7,900 square miles across Yavapai County, VVHS is often the only safety net for animals in need throughout our vast and largely rural region. From rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned and neglected pets to providing compassionate care, enrichment, and adoption services, our work is rooted in the belief that every animal deserves a second chance.

This past year, we have continued to expand our impact—strengthening our adoption programs, enhancing medical and behavioral care, and working to ensure that every animal in our shelter experiences dignity, safety, and love while they await their forever home. At the same time, we are actively engaging our community through education, volunteerism, and innovative fundraising efforts that directly support the animals in our care.

As our organization grows, so too does the need for a facility that matches the level of care we strive to provide. We are hopeful to soon launch a capital campaign to support a much-needed building expansion—one that will allow us to improve kennel environments, increase capacity, and create more humane, enrichment-focused spaces for the animals we serve.

Your support on Arizona Gives Day helps make all of this possible. Whether it is providing lifesaving medical care, funding enrichment programs, or laying the groundwork for our future expansion, every gift moves us closer to a stronger, more compassionate community for animals and the people who love them.

Thank you for standing with us and believing in this mission.

With gratitude,
Verde Valley Humane Society Board of Directors
