Pets for Patriots
To say THANK YOU for your service, Verde Valley Humane Society partners with the Pets for Patriots program to match hard-to-place shelter pets with veterans and military families. In addition to the physical and emotional benefits an adopted pet brings to any family, adoption can help ease the stress of a transition when a service member returns from deployment or retires.
Verde Valley Humane Society is proud to partner with Pets for Patriots to help veterans in our community more affordably adopt companion dogs and cats.
Supporting our Veterans
On December 7th, 2024, We participated in Cottonwood's Christmas parade. The theme was Aloha Christmas, for Pearl Harbor day. For our float, we honored our veterans and our pets for patriot program.
