Meet some of our lovable long-timers!

Degas, Charlie, Baldor, Sir Duke, Cheetah and Shawnee have been at the shelter for over one year waiting for their forever homes! We know their adopters are out there and we can’t wait to match you up with one of these sweet dogs.

Give us a call to make an appointment to meet our long term residents, 928-634-7387. They’ve been waiting so patiently to meet you!

Buy a pie to help the animals at VVHS

Every 2nd Saturday, Papa Murphy’s donates $3 from every full priced pizza sold to help with the care of the animals. We have your menu planned, throw a pizza party for the animals on Saturday, November 9th!

2nd Annual Golf Tournament

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament! With a fantastic turnout of 76 golfers, we had a memorable day filled with so much fun. Thanks to our generous community, we had 22 amazing raffle baskets, giving every participant a chance to win something special. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and can’t wait to see you all again next year!

Thrill The World

We had such a great time on Saturday, October 26th during the Thrill the World Event in Clarkdale! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us, and supported the Verde Valley Humane Society!

Meet our featured pet to adopt, Shawnee!

This adorable sweetheart longs for a loving forever home – Shawnee has been with us for one year and six months! At 73 pounds, she’s a true cutie who craves attention and playtime. Shawnee is selective with her doggy pals, but she might just adore meeting your friendly male dog. Shawnee is a lovebug who thrives on affection, ready to be the most delightful companion you could ask for!

Give us a call to meet Shawnee, 928-634-7387.
