Verde Valley Humane Society Seeks Dental Equipment
The Board of Directors and shelter manager Melanie Lucas would like to thank all the donors who made our new surgical room possible. The first procedures were performed November 14th in the Lucy Malloy Memorial Surgical Suite. Dr. Nicholas Volkman, semi-retired VMD, performed microchip implantation and neutering procedures.
Dr. Volkman will be performing numerous procedures that used to require transporting the animals to Prescott or Phoenix, thus saving considerable expense and stress on the animals. The surgical suite is currently dedicated to the shelter animals.
We are extremely grateful for the financial support from the community for the surgical suite. We would like to raise another $9000 for dental equipment to complete the suites full complement of equipment. If you would like to donate toward the purchase of the dental equipment, please donate below.
